Last night I was happy to find out that The Air Assault Team had made it onto The Wall Street Journal‘s list of Top 400 Realtors of 2009! We’re thrilled to make the top 100 in the country at #61!

Thanks to every Buyer’s Agent on the team for all your hard work last year, and thanks to Matt Wagner and Bob Corcoran for all your help and support.

This morning I got some more good news when I found out that I have been selected to be one of Dave Ramsey’s endorsed local real estate agent in the Clarksville, TN, area. I am so excited to be a part of an organization that has the same financial beliefs that I have.

What an awesome way to start the weekend!

Last week was an awesome networking and learning week! It started with the Corcoran Consulting Mastermind event — some of the top and brightest Realtors in the industry exchanging ideas with one of the best business coaches in the industry. I participated in a panel with Barry Ezerski, Pam Marion, and Dan Hamilton. It was a great conversation! I call Bob Corcoran’s consulting the business coaching company with a heart.

After that Mark & I had a great time at the annual Star Power convention. This year it was held close by in Murfreesboro, TN, and the keynote speaker was Dave Ramsey, one of my favorite authors and financial advisers!

This morning I received a letter about Buyer’s Agent Mark-Anthony Hodges from a very satisfied customer!

He writes:

Ms. Kelly,

Just a note to thank your team for the help I was given. I was unable to come up with the necessary funds to get the house I wanted. However, I would like to take this opportunity to let you know the terrific service I received from Mark Hodges. You are lucky to have such a person in your employ. I felt totally at ease with his knowledge and his friendliness, even though the property I was looking at would have not made him much compensation at all. I had the feeling he would treat everyone the same regardless of whether he was showing a mansion or a hovel… Again, thanks and if something else comes up that I might be able to swing, rest assured yours is the company I will come to.

Every year in late spring agents from Keller Williams participate in Red Day, a day of community service at the Salvation Army.  This year the timing of Red Day was particularly meaningful because The Salvation Army Store and Donation Center is normally located on Kraft Street and, like a lot of businesses, was flooded.

Yesterday The Air Assault Team and other Keller Williams agents took turns unloading, sorting, and shelving donations at the temporary warehouse location, which is also accepting donations for flood victims. (600 C. Cumberland Drive.)

We’re money magnets! Literally!

The Air Assault Team recently participated in a team building exercise to help us remember to channel prosperity.

Buyer’s Agent Mark Anthony Hodges said, “If this ever happens to me again I must remember to not close my eyes.  It is hard to participate in the fun of it if your eyes are closed. The actual exercise is a great class room ice breaker.”

Buyer’s Agent Yana Kan shared some more photos of the team celebrating at BB Kings and at the Keller-Williams Awards Banquet last month.

To reward ourselves for all our hard work and to celebrate our success in 2009, we went in style to BB King’s Restaurant and Blues Club in Nashville over President’s Day Weekend.

Though 2010 is already underway, this year’s Keller Williams Clarksville Awards Banquet gave us one more chance to reflect on our blessings from last year. It was my best and the Team’s best year in real estate. We worked hard and saw results!

The Air Assault Team celebrates in style

The banquet was held February 6 at the Hopkinsville Christian County Convention Center and had a pretty good turn out despite some challenging winter weather. Air Assault Team Buyer’s Agent Wanda Jordan-Barnett began the night’s program with a beautiful rendition of our National Anthem, and Buyer’s Agent Beverley Slocum gave the invocation by singing the Lord’s Prayer.

When the awards were announced, it was clear that all of Keller Williams Clarksville had really excelled in 2009. There were 8 teams or groups at KW Clarksville that were in the top 25% of all Keller Williams Realty International (KWRI) Teams & Groups, and another 7 teams were in the top 50%.

There are 7 total categories of awards ranging from Bronze to Triple Platinum. Here’s how the Keller Williams Clarksville Market Center fared:

2010 has hardly begun but the Air Assault Team members are already off and running. It’s amazing how busy everyone is for the start of the year!
